Karma Law #66 ©
While the Universe does not test us – though we often think we are playing the part of a modern day Job, it does give us opportunities to express our beliefs, or do the right thing – in other words “practice what we preach.” We often don’t think of the little things as being Karma collectors, and only those big things that others (bankers, profiteers) do that clearly spell out: G-R-E-E-D. Yet, even the small things – like keeping the wrong change – set up the Cause & Effect Law of Karma that puts results or consequences into motion. These little “dings” can cause delays, or permanent stoppage on an intention you want to manifest. They change the vibration of your positive energy, which needs a certain frequency for manifesting things in your life. So if you’re not getting what you desire, you may want to look back on some of your actions, messages or negative thoughts. Just because your Past taught that “a white lie was OK,” or that “possession was nine-tenths of the law, or finders-keepers,” doesn’t mean it was right or just. That would be like someone catching a shoplifter and making them share their bounty, or they’d turn them in. Two wrongs never make a right. Many think that the missteps of Karma are the “shit happens” of everyday life. Yes, probably so, but what if it didn’t have to happen? So, be aware of your horn and patience and rudeness to pedestrian and other drivers.
While I was living in Japan and traveled often throughout Asia, I had the opportunity of buying pirated tapes, CDs and videos. At first I took advantage of it, feeling the big producers could afford the loss, but often the material was not what they had said, and rarely worth the price I paid. But Karma being what it is and was, I could not scream, but I did cry when my own copyrighted material was stolen and offered to others. With awareness, when later offered real ivory and tortoise, I refused it, though others said it didn’t matter since the animal was already dead. I knew it did matter to the future animals that would be slaughtered to replace what had been bought. So much of what we do is done not out of actual harmful purpose, but without awareness and actual stupidity to open our eyes to the consequences of our actions. This is truly what this law of Cause and Effect is all about – stop and think what your actions, or negative energy is doing that will be boomeranged back to you in multiple amounts.
Exercise: So fully understanding all of the Universal Laws can help you to comprehend why certain things may befall you, when you think you’ve been a ‘good’ person, not cheating anyone out of their life savings, etc. People don’t trip over mountains, it is always the pebbles along the path that can send you over the edge – literally, as well as figuratively. These Laws do not make judgments, they simply create an effect for every cause. Think of them as computer oriented – they can only respond to what has been programed in, so there is no special treatment or exceptions for anyone or thing. If we do positive things in helping people, donating, or act in responsible ways in gratitude, forgiveness; the effect/results is returned to us exponentially. Think of it as Lady Justice NOT blindfolded, but having 360 degree eyesight at all times, everywhere. Those scales are out there measuring and weighing everything we do or say, as the Law of Karma is working to teach us or bless us, and sometimes both simultaneously. Don’t forget, even your thoughts, beliefs and energy have an affect on those scales.
While no one can play Goody-Two-Shoes, Pollyanna, or Hero all the time, you can be a far cry from the bully or egotistical “It’s ALL about me shallow person.” Yet some people, who are very career-driven, don’t realize how insensitive or inflexible they are, as they justify it with being fair, as in not being compassionate to anyone. They do not understand loyalty or appreciation, in that efficiency is everything when people are paid fairly for the job they do. These are the classic “ends justifying the means,” as long as they don’t technically break any human laws. They usually don’t consider themselves as cruel or even a mean person, just doing what they think is right, or expected of them to do. Most of us are not even aware of the energetic vibrations that we are putting out, but others can quickly pick up the negative resonance in a room, or even single out the source. What is most fascinating, and referred to before, is that this negativity all comes from Fear. If this idea of fear was posed to that person vibrating it, they would think you were crazy, weird and probably offensive. If you wanted to freak them out even more, just tell them that it can be cured or removed by love – the perfect transformation would be if it was unconditional love. Of course, that is not going to happen, as the person has to want to change, which starts with awareness and acknowledgment. Then again, you can offer an opinion that being more acceptable of others is a start, and go from there.
The best situation, as stated prior, is to lead by example. So when someone notices how positive and happy your life is, you simply tell them that you work at staying in a positive vibration of love. If you haven’t lost them, you can add that you’ve continuously work at letting go of anger, doubt, fear and any negative actions or thoughts. The magic starts when they ask how and why you’ve done this, and you move onto unconditional love and how the positive energy creates miracle manifesting. Remember one does not need to be a passionate cheerleader that comes off as, “I’m better and more advanced than you are,” or even intimidating, as if you belong to this exclusive club that isn’t accepting any new members. We are not reformers to the extent that convert to our obsessive ways and beliefs, or die. This would not make us that different from the above described “ends justifying the means.” Think the Crusades, and how much positive they did Not accomplish – there is still War in the Middle East. We don’t want passion that eventually burns out, or addiction that alienates all who are not on a par with our feelings. Passion, like heroism has its place and purpose. But the middle road is always the best, as we fully acknowledge that we are not perfect, as it is not what we are striving for on this Earth plane. We appreciate the happiness of our success, and offer the choice to others to find their paths. Their is a contentment and satisfaction of doing what one loves to do, with the bonus of positive feedback.
Acceptance is a key part in that what you see inside another person is often what we don’t like within ourselves. You point it out in another, so they don’t notice it in you. If we are All One, then acceptance and tolerance is the foundation. Also, being stoic and feeling that you have to suffer to be rewarded is not part of Karma. There are no evils in wealth, as long as you’ve earned by your own talents and not Past ancestors through their graft or greed. The important thing is to share it with others so you will also receive back abundance in kind in what is given.
